Same Mission. New Role.

Exciting Changes

We are still missionaries with Word of Life. We are still on a mission to see every student everywhere hear the Gospel from a friend and grow in their walk with Christ. We are still in need of prayer and financial support to do this work God has given us.

Over the past several months, we have been seeking wisdom from God, dear friends, and our leadership. We are stepping into a new role with Word of Life where Caleb will serve as the Marketing Manager for Youth Ministries. The main aim of this new role is to develop content and implement effective strategies which will spread our message to more churches about the resources Word of Life Youth Ministries has to offer.

We are committed to assisting churches in building Gospel-advancing, disciple-making youth ministries.

Baby girl on the way!

We are expecting our first child, Emma James Cody, in late November. Please be praying for a safe birth and pray for the new parents <3. If you have any pro tips, please feel free to share.

Reverb ATL ’22

Caleb with FBT youth group at Reverb ATL 2021

Our biggest evangelistic event of the year is right around the corner. On November 19, we are planning to share the Gospel with 1,000 students! Pray for their hearts leading up to the event.

Reverb is our all-night event where churches come from GA, AL, & TN. Caleb is responsible for the Gospel rally at Reverb. This year is tricky because our baby girl is due Nov. 21 and Reverb is Nov. 19.

Join us in asking God to prepare the hearts of all the students who will attend Reverb this year. We are also asking God for extra creativity and discipline as we “over-prepare” this year – as there is a chance that we will be in the hospital while Reverb is going on.

Support Goal

We’ve never been fully funded, and by God’s grace, that is about to change! Will you pray with us as we focus on raising the remainder of our financial support by the end of this year? If you feel led to join our support team, you can do so by clicking here.

Lifechange in Georgia

Brady’s Journey to the Bible Institute

Brady’s dad was battling brain cancer. Brady was committed to staying home throughout the ’22 summer with his family, not knowing when they would have to say goodbye to his dad. After his dad passed in January, he was unsure what to do (and who could blame him). Caleb, along with other influences encouraged him to still go to summer camp at Word of Life. Leading up to camp, Brady was still reluctant to go. He did end up going and it has been truly amazing to see what God has been doing in Brady’s heart throughout the summer.

Listen to this… he went to camp, and went on a missions trip with WOL to the Navajo Nation in New Mexico. Guess what? Most all the kids there have no father.

Brady told us “I hadn’t really opened up to anyone a lot about my dad’s passing until camp at Word of Life. God used that week to prepare me for the missions trip where I could minister to kids who also didn’t have a dad… there was one specific time where I know it was the first time I really felt like God was speaking through me and it was the coolest thing I’ve ever experienced, seeing God use me like that.”

Brady is now attending the Word of Life Bible Institute in Florida and is loving it! Caleb looks forward to connecting with him when he visits in October to train students who will be serving at the Atlanta Reverb.
