February Funtastic
We were blessed to have over 400 children hear the Gospel at February Funtastic this year! We had a blast helping lead games during the all-day fun day!
February Funtastic was Emma’s first WOL Gospel event! It was SO fun!
Coming Up: National Staff Conference
Please pray for me as I work with some of our leadership team to craft a clear presentation that tells “what we do.” This is one of the projects I am currently working on. We will be giving our missionaries this new presentation in hopes that it will help them better communicate about the tools and resources we have to help churches reach students.
We love National Staff Conference every year. It is always a blessing to be around our entire team, and encourage one another as we all play various parts in helping churches reach the next generation. The conference is at Word of Life in Hudson, FL at the end of March.
Coming Up: Gospel Advancing Summit
Dare 2 Share hosts an annual conference in Colorado called the Gospel Advancing Summit. This is a conference for youth pastors who are committed to building a “Gospel Advancing Ministry.” Our team at Word of Life Youth Ministries has closely partnered with D2S for this cause. D2S is great at practical training in evangelism. WOL is great at helping churches build deep, engaging youth ministries. It’s only natural we work together.
I have the privilege of going to this event and meeting many youth pastors who are committed to training their students how to boldly share their faith in Jesus. I have also been working on a marketing campaign that will follow up with all the youth pastors we meet in Colorado and make them aware of all the resources we have to help them build a Gospel Advancing Ministry — including our Youth Ministry Coaches as mentors and encourages to them (being a youth pastor can be a lonely job). Please pray for creativity and clarity as I work on this project. The conference is at the end of April.
Family Update
“Emma girl” as we like to call her is growing too fast! We are so blessed for a healthy little girl. She brightens up each day. Steph and I love watching her grow and are honored to be her mommy and daddy.
Please continue to pray for me and Steph to have wisdom as we pray about our long-term housing plan. God has graciously provided temporary mission housing through some generous friends and our home church. This gives us a few months to get a more sustainable plan together. Pray for (1) wisdom, (2) diligence in saving during this time, and (3) God to provide in a special way.
